Quite amusing 1xtra morning show hosts Dev and Iyare dedicated Will Smith’s “Men in Black” soundtrack song to all Americans in proper honor of Independence Day this morning. He didn’t do soundtrack songs for Independence Day or the Ali film. Nothing truly inspiring.
Instead, America got a song from the point of view of the Men in Black, fictional government agents who erase your memory. How patriotic. If you think about it in context of Americans running out and subscribing to iPhones this holiday despite AT&T’s links to real government agents supposedly doing “good” Dev and Iyare are all the more on point. Props.
