All five guys from Smooth Old-Fashioned High played live on Boise Community Radio Sunday January 11th. They were guest DJs and performed a few acoustic songs for us. New Indie Local On Tour airs Sundays 4-6pm and then repeats Thursdays 9-11am. The show with the dudes, hosted by the couple, will be running for a second week by popular demand! So tune in to our stream Sunday 1/18 4-6pm MST and Thursday 1/22 9-11am MST.
They talked about music and touring and also gave us some fun insider knowledge on other Idaho bands. It was a very hyped-up program, in fact we think it might have been the most listeners to a single show yet. There were more over the course of the show, but Radioactive Gavin (uh, that’s me) did manage to take a pic proving we had 18 listeners near the end of the show…
I think we should have some kind of competition with all the live hosts on RadioBoise.org to see who can get to 20 first. You gotta have a camera, though so maybe it isn’t fair… Oh well, let’s do it anyway, it will be fun to compete to see who can do the best publicity for the station. Winner gets to be not mentioned by Michael Deeds in the Idaho Statesman!
