Download and print out my new zine called Cine File HERE. (pdf)
I am proud to release a 24-page guide to 100 of the best films from 2009.
Printing instructions:
1. Print two-sided in landscape mode, 8.5″ x 11″
2. Select “short edge” so the text on the back isn’t upside down.
3. If you’re printing in black & white, lightening the images is suggested.
4. Fold in half and you’ve got a booklet. I suggest one staple in the spine.
Once I’ve seen more of the 2009 movies, I will do an update laid out for the web.

Way back in 2007, Digital Crossroads featured news and opinion about cinema the first Friday of every month.
Exhibition, distribution and video were all fair game. Plus, whenever possible, I would bring on filmmakers, writers, projectionists, festival programmers and other folks in the business of movies.
Generally, these were looser, more fun episodes of the show:
December 7th, 2007… Karynne Rayner and I talk about the film currently playing at Olympia’s Capitol Theater, Kurt Cobain: About A Son, with director AJ Schnack (on the phone)…
The dream-like film features almost 90 minutes of Kurt Cobain’s voice from interviews with author Michael Azerrad, with footage shot around Aberdeen, Montesano, Olympia and Seattle. Listen to the interview HERE.
November 2nd, 2007…Tune in for a huge rundown of this year’s Olympia Film Festival Nov. 2-10 at the Capitol Theater with festival programming chief Dustin Kaspar (live in the studio)…
Werner Herzog (surprisingly, not pictured) appears briefly in All In This Tea, one of the movies that yours truly will be projecting!
October 5th, 2007…Olympia Film Society projectionists (live in the studio) support Jeff Bartone + changes to OFS bylaws, though they failed at the special meeting…
The Capitol had neon?
September 7th, 2007…Alamo Draft House founder Tim League (on the phone) after 10 years in Austin, finally opening on 6th street + 3 years of the Rolling Roadshow…
This picture is from Brownsville, OR at the screening of Stand By Me this summer. Loren Thor of The Tasteful Nudes and I were there, sitting with our chairs against the front bumper of the van!!! It was unforgettable!!!
August 3rd, 2007…Writer + comedian Chuck Watkins (live in the studio) triggers several phone calls despite the fact he doesn’t break out into song…
Watkins just released a hilarious new comedy album and you can buy it on iTunes.

I like this post.
an ambitious one yes, but great things are achieved with high aims.
and It’ll encourage me to check and learn of the great donut crisis facing our police departments on segways.
Don’t you have some posting to do?
