Tony Nadler’s Measuring Diversity study is now available for exclusive download through my partnership with the fine people at The Royal Honorama.
Interviews with Meredith Beal and Danny Kogita intended to shed light on issues of representation in American broadcasting. Danny Khazm is a hip hop impresario in Seattle. When he isn’t organizing, making music and co-hosting Zulu Radio on KBCS radio, he is a nice guy to talk to. Meredith Beal is a former Motown and high tech executive who now owns several radio stations in Texas. Listeners say he is the best interview guest I’ve had so far, and I am proud of it. Please leave comments if you get time to check it out. [a segment of the Beal interview aired on 7-20-07, thanks for the positive feedback!]
Just for kicks, download the entire End-of-the-Year Cinema Special featuring the infamous Eugene Mirman interview recorded before the launch of Turner broadcasting’s Super Deluxe. The final show of 2006 concluded with end-of-the-year movie highlights. This Film is Not Yet Rated was my favorite documentary. For narrative, Ryan Gosling and the movie Half Nelson received my top honors in 2006.
Does my picture show up when I post a comment? Eric Pils takes good pictures.
Eric Pils says, “yes”.
